What survived the prototype

Three decisions from a weekend tool that finally became useful.

Start with the smallest loop Keep the rough edges visible

A Boken profile turns links into places

Keep the profile direct, then let the world around it carry the mood, visits, quests, and traces.

Links become places

Turn the links visitors already need into quest landmarks they can enter without losing the direct path.

Every interaction leaves a trace

Clicks, treats, reactions, and quest visits can surface as living signals around the profile.

Widgets carry the real content

Media, notes, commissions, social links, status, and writing live in flexible profile windows.

World Seed gets you started

Claim a slug, generate a starter world, then keep shaping the profile in owner mode.

Your Boken grows with the audience

The profile can feel more alive as people return, interact, and give the world more history.

Explore creator worlds

Compact fictional examples of how different creators can shape a public Boken profile around real workflows.

FAQs

No. Claim a URL, add a few links, and start with a playable profile. You can keep it simple, then add richer widgets, media, quests, and world details as the profile grows.

Yes. Boken adds personality around the page, but the important actions stay direct. Quest cards, URL widgets, social tiles, contact buttons, and media previews all keep visitors close to the thing they came to open.

You move into onboarding with the slug reserved. From there you can use World Seed for a starter profile or build manually, then continue in owner mode with widgets, profile details, and demo-style editing.

Profiles support real widgets like About, Featured Quest, Quest Board, Latest Trace, Current Mood, Contact, Boken Status, URL Link, Text, Image, Video, Writing Archive, and Social Preview. The widgets can use different sizes, headers, media fits, and color themes.

A normal link page is mostly a list. Boken keeps the links, then turns them into a small world with quest landmarks, visitor traces, a growing Boken, media windows, and profile widgets that feel more alive without hiding the links.

Traces are lightweight signals from activity in the world, like quest clicks, reactions, treats, or other interactions. They help the profile feel active while keeping the page readable and privacy-conscious.

Yes. The same profile system works for VTubers, streamers, artists, educators, photographers, writers, indie makers, musicians, and TTRPG creators because the widgets are flexible instead of locked to one format.

Yes. Demo mode opens a working owner-style profile so you can see the available widgets, resize behavior, media panels, and profile controls before committing to your own world.
